FAZUA - Shaping the Future of Cycling
Founding and Vision
FAZUA was founded in 2013, driven by a passion for cycling that started with a university project. Johannes Biechele, a dedicated mountain biker, sought to create a minimalist, aesthetic drive system that was lightweight and delivered a natural ride. Despite skepticism from the industry, Biechele's perseverance, supported by his childhood friend Fabian Reuter, led to the establishment of FAZUA. In 2015, FAZUA’s innovative concept revolutionized the bike industry, setting a new standard for lightweight e-bikes. As of July 2022, FAZUA is part of Porsche eBike Performance GmbH.
