The company's owner and chief designer, Marcus Wallmeyer, integrates his experiences in automotive and industrial design, as well as his practical knowledge as an avid cyclist, into every product.

Our History

"When I first set out 25 years ago with a headlamp I made myself, I never imagined it would become, two decades later, a company with nearly 60 employees. In 1995, there was nothing on the market that allowed me to continue my long winter training sessions. The first headlamp was created for personal use, but soon friends requested my robust 'day-extending machines'. Two years and 20,000 night kilometers later, I founded Supernova in 1997. A lighting revolution began, which continues to this day with a bright future ahead. I personally test every prototype to ensure the quality and design I myself enjoy. I thank my team for helping to make the world a little brighter."
