A Vision for Innovation

Knog is an award-winning, world-renowned cycling and outdoor accessories brand founded in 2002 by friends Hugo Davidson and Mal McKechnie. Hugo, a product designer, and Mal, a mechanical engineer, now lead a Melbourne-based team of over 20 professionals in design, engineering, marketing, logistics, and finance.

Revolutionizing Cycling Accessories

In 2008, Knog introduced the world’s first silicone bike light, the Frog, which achieved global sales of 7 million units. In 2016, the company reinvented the bike bell with the low-profile, wrap-around Oi bell, which has sold 3.5 million units globally. The Oi Luxe was recognized as one of the most stylish bicycle bells by Cycling Weekly.

Expanding the Product Line

In 2019, Knog ventured into outdoor products with the Bandicoot, the world’s first full-body silicone headlamp. The Bilby 400 Headlamp was named one of the 'Best Women's Running Kit' in Outside Magazine's Buyer’s Guide. In 2022, the Scout Bike Alarm & Finder, featuring Apple Find My technology and a motion-sensitive 85dB alarm, received multiple international awards and industry acclaim.
